Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 14, 2026
Goodthree is a design and development studio based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This page explains what information we collect when you visit goodthree.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we don’t sell any of it, and we only use it to run the site and respond to you.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you fill out our contact form, we receive whatever you enter — typically your name, email address, company, and a description of your project. We use this to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to keep the conversation going. That’s it.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get visited, how long people stay, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device and browser they’re using. This is aggregated and doesn’t tell us who you are personally.
Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can read how Google handles that data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested). We use these only for security and troubleshooting.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your information.
- We don’t rent or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We don’t run ads or ad-tracking on this site.
- We don’t collect payment information through the website.
Text messaging (SMS)
This section is our SMS privacy policy and messaging terms. It applies if you opt in, verbally over the phone or in person, to receive text messages from Goodthree.
What we collect
When you opt in to text messaging with Goodthree, we collect your mobile phone number, your opt-in consent (including the date, time, and method), and the content of messages you send us. We use this only to communicate with you as described below.
Data sharing
- Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy or on goodthree.com excludes mobile opt-in data.
- We use a messaging service provider solely to deliver messages on our behalf. They are not permitted to use your information for anything else.
- We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards and internal policies to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of consumer data. Mobile opt-in and consent data are not transferred to external organizations under any circumstances.
How long we keep it
We keep your phone number and consent record for as long as you’re opted in, plus a reasonable period afterward to document your opt-out and comply with carrier and legal requirements. To request deletion, text STOP or email [email protected].
Goodthree Messaging Terms and Conditions
- Program description. You will receive informational and conversational messages from Goodthree. These are messages about your project with us: answering questions, sharing status updates, scheduling calls, and requesting approvals or feedback. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- How you opt in. You opt in verbally, over the phone or in person, when a member of our team asks for your mobile number and whether you’d like to receive informational text messages from Goodthree. We’ll tell you at that time that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. By agreeing, you consent to receive text messages from Goodthree at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- How to opt out. You can cancel at any time by texting STOP to the number you received messages from. We’ll send one confirmation message letting you know you’ve been unsubscribed, and you won’t receive further texts from us after that. To rejoin, reply START, or let us know verbally and we’ll opt you back in.
- Help. For help, text HELP to the number you received messages from, or contact us at [email protected] or (717) 397-6979.
- Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and from you to us. Message frequency varies based on your communication needs. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your text or data plan.
- Privacy. Your phone number and opt-in data are handled as described in the SMS Privacy Policy above and are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Contact. If you have questions about these SMS terms or this privacy policy, contact us at [email protected] or (717) 397-6979.
Who we share information with
The only third parties that touch your data are the services that help us run the site:
- Google Analytics — site usage data, as described above.
- Our web host and email provider — they store the site and deliver form submissions to our inbox.
Each of these handles data under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if we’re legally required to, or if it’s necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
The only cookies we set are the ones Google Analytics uses to measure site traffic. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work without them.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions stay in our email as long as they’re useful for the conversation or relationship. Google Analytics data is kept on Google’s default retention schedule. If you’d like something deleted, just ask (see below).
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it’s used. We honor these requests regardless of where you’re located — send us a note and we’ll take care of it.
If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, the rights above are backed by GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA respectively. We don’t sell or “share” personal information as those laws define it.
Children
This site isn’t directed at anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has submitted information to us, let us know and we’ll delete it.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards and internal policies to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of the information we hold. No website or email system is perfectly secure, though. Please don’t send sensitive information (passwords, financial details, and the like) through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted here so they’re easy to spot.
