Arch Street Center

Identity and website for an organization centered around a sense of belonging for its members and the community around them.

Background

Since 1983, Arch Street Center has filled a need in the community for adults with mental illness to have a place to go for recreation and meals.

From their first operations in the basement of a church, the organization has grown significantly in size, services, and impact. To continue their work, a new website was needed that could grow with their mission, supported by a new identity representing their impact, services, and members.

Solution

The arch mark has been a mainstay throughout Arch Street’s history, with small updates and iterations being made along the way. Using a familiar feature helped a redesign feel right at home with their brand and their members. To complement the new arch, we established a visual identity that introduced a versatile logo system, vibrant color palette, and consistent typography with custom swashes when needed. Putting the new identity to use, the new website introduced helpful features, making it easier to directly support the mission, and improved navigation to create a more engaging and user-friendly experience.
