For several decades, Lancaster City Housing Authority has offered a hand up to those in need.

Their high standard of service and enduring commitment has made individual accomplishments possible inside and outside the walls of their buildings. Going into their 70th year, LCHA was in need of a cohesive identity that symbolized their continued commitment within their community.


Throughout the history of the organization, Lancaster City Housing Authority had been identified by its name, residents, and properties, never an established brand identity. We shined a spotlight on those key areas that embodied the strong legacy of LCHA for the design of a prominent logo mark, paired with a balanced display of their name. Focusing on positive, upward movement, uniting support within the community, and recognizing achievements of the people they serve. Pieces of the logo catered to the development of a visual identity, allowing the characters to create patterns, establish a base color palette, and influence various graphic elements for their materials.
